This Diverse, "particular " collection of drawings, photographs and objects constitutes Simon Moretti's recent work. The space these works occupy is one of proposition and possibility.
Issues of collaboration and authorship are explored while the artists's presence is still felt in the work through the gestures which comprise the drawings and the sculptural elements.
The 2 dimensional works play with the tension between their intrinsic flatness and the illusion of a 3d space while the sculptural objects can be read as 3d drawings.
