The Work in "UNIVERSE" takes a sideways look at the sublime. It marks time not by coffee spoons, and space not through time. The artists in "UNIVERSE" explore our culture's empirical attempts to represent both micro-and-macrocosms. Some of the work posits a playful approach to representing these polar infinities such as gaming or just plain "givin up". Ohter works pay homage to science's achievements or employs personal scale and "time spent" as metaphors for the bigger picture so to speak; all seek to put representation through it's paces by pitting it against an infinity.
